- Birds of Quail Valley: Photographer and Quail Valley resident Margaret Sloan has identified more than 100 species of birds sighted in Quail Valley. While some of the photographs have been taken in other places, Margaret has produced an album that will help you have confidence to say "yes, those birds come here." - Identifying and Attracting Birds of Quail Valley: Margaret Sloan and Janice Scanlan are building a website on Quail Valley Birds that will add birds as Winter, then Spring and Fall birds come to Quail Valley . . . as we spot them so you can know they are here. It will have tips on where and how to spot them and how to attract them. Eventually the site will be large enough to sort by category including Year Around Birds.
